I know art is subjective, so, my subjective opinion is that one of the single most important things we bring to our work as portrait artist is emotion and humanity that allows the subject and the viewer to connect on a deep level. This image hits the nail on the head!”

1st runner up is Angie Anderson from Angie Anderson Photography based in Calgary, Alberta, Canada.

Thoughts on this image from Denise “I am swooning over the how delicate and feminine the form in this image is! The use of light is beautiful but, to me what make this a standout image is the capture of such vulnerable and delicate parts of her body. The way the jaw, neck and collar are highlighted is simply stunning! This images gives me the feel and then some, great job!”
