The AIBP Visionary Awards are an inspirational and educational photography competition unlike any other. It is open to all professionals, novices, and hobbyists who photograph boudoir. AIBP believes that pushing ourselves through competition helps us excel in the art of photography and in our ability to offer the highest standard of empowering boudoir experiences to our clients. All entrants have the opportunity to work toward the AIBP Artistry Excellence degree as a Member of AIBP.

2025 AIBP Visionary Award Winners

The Awards’ 11 categories span the unique niches of boudoir photography. Each category also includes designations for either client (commissioned) or a model/styled image (non-commissioned). With the scope of categories and the option to designate an image as commissioned or a non-commissioned, the images will be competing with like images. Also included is an AI Creations or Open category.

2026 AIBP Visionary Awards Timeline

Pre-purchase & Members Only Discount – Monday August 17th – Sunday August 23rd
Entries Open: Monday August 24th – Sunday September 21st
Judging Period: Monday September 28th – Sunday October 11th
Awards Announced: November 2026

Competition Overview

– Judging panel consists of leading industry professionals that will award each image entered credits based on the Judging Criteria to earn accolades in the AIBP Visionary Awards.
– The highest honor of Platinum will be eligible for Best in Category as well as Best in Show, both of which are eligible to receive sponsor prizes & cash awards.
– Each entry will receive either a PLATINUM, GOLD, SILVER, BRONZE, or non-merit designation by the judging panel. (See Judging Criteria)
– To be eligible to win the Best in Category or Best in Show, a minimum of 4 images must be entered into the competition.
– Entrants may also select to receive a personalized critique on each image entered from a member of the judging panel. For the maximum educational feedback, AIBP encourages members to take advantage of these critiques. It is truly helpful in pushing your art to the next level

Photographers that earn ranked awards will also earn points towards their AIBP Artistry Track Degrees. More to come on the AIBP Artistry Track.

Prize packages are worth over $4000 for the Best in Show and over $1000 for each Category Winner. Details coming soon.

Prize Package Terms
* Prize packages are subject to change.
* Prizes and gifts will be distributed after winners are announced.
* Unless specifically identified as a cash prize, prizes have no cash value and cannot be exchanged or redeemed for cash.
* Credits, gift cards, prizes, and gifts are non-transferable.
* AIBP Retreat credits may be applied toward registration for the 2027 AIBP Retreat. The maximum Retreat credit that may be applied per recipient is $600, regardless of the number of awards earned.
