My name is Mónica Olvera. I am a Mexican photographer specializing in female portraiture, maternity, newborn, and boudoir photography, with over two decades of professional experience. My work is defined by a sensitive, elegant, and deeply respectful approach to each woman’s body and personal story. I am a pioneer of newborn photography in Mexico, particularly in Mexico City, and I continue to actively practice and evolve this discipline. Throughout my career, I have developed a solid visual style that blends technical mastery, refined aesthetics, and a genuine emotional connection with my clients. I have over 15 years of experience in boudoir photography, creating sessions that go far beyond aesthetics. My approach focuses on offering safe, intentional, and transformative experiences where women can see themselves without judgment, reconnect with their bodies, and recognize their strength, sensuality, and authenticity. In addition to my work as a photographer, I am a mentor and educator for photographers in Mexico and internationally, teaching both in-person and online courses focused on lighting, posing, workflow, and personal brand development. I have participated as an international speaker and have collaborated with leading photography brands such as Nikon and currently with Tamron, sharing a common vision of technical excellence and commitment to visual education. I strongly believe in photography as a tool for empowerment, memory, and self-esteem. Every session is an invitation to pause time and to look at oneself through kinder, more conscious, and more honest eyes.
