Our judge this week is Tanya Smith.

Tanya has been a women’s portrait photographer since 2011 and fell in love with how a boudoir session can change the way a woman sees herself.  She own’s and operates Tanya Smith Photography based out of Hamilton Ontario, Canada.

Since 2017, Tanya has been mentoring and coaching other boudoir photographers one-on-one who want to grow their business. Her online business education, Profitable Portraits, has helped hundreds of portrait photographers from all over the world, in every genre, grow and scale their own businesses.

Tanya’s comments on this image. “Love the classic boudoir pose, but the attention to detail in this one is well done, from the hair & make up, to the position of her hands, her relaxed face and choice of earrings. Lighting and editing is well done. This is a pose that will work for anyone.  I’m also a sucker for  “formal lingerie” (with garters and stockings).”

1st runner up this week is Laura Robinson of Ellarre Boudoir based near Minneapolis, MN.

Tanya felt this image had “great light and use of shadows. The set is fantastic. Again, great attention to detail with this pose. Another classic.”

2nd runner up this week is the photography team Christina and Daniel Dennis of Untold Boudoir based out of Helena AL

Tanya “loves the warm edit, very flattering to the robe and client’s skin and hair.  Posing is also well done.”
