This week’s choices were selected by Shawn Black of Couture Black based out of Boston, MA. He has been photographing boudoir for over 8 years and recently acquired AIBP. He is looking forward to continuing to push the boudoir genre forward.

Shawn selected this image because, “There are so may things I love about this image. To start the lighting is exquisite the way that it falls on her body in the foreground while also still defining her in the reflection. The pose and framing work so well with the dual image so well. Finally the retouch done on her skin is perfect where it leaves just enough texture to keep her from looking plastic.”
1st Runner up this week is Sarah Brown of Sarah Brown Boudoir.
What Shawn had to say about this image. “This is a beautiful white sheet implied nude. I especially like the pose and angle that this was shot from that not only flatters her form, but provides for a level of anonymity which only adds to the final image.”
2nd runner up go to Renee Lee of Be.Boudoir.
Shawn felt that “This is a beautiful not traditional tub pose. I love how the lighting shows off the definition in her arm and the cheekiness of the over the shoulder look playing off the implied nude just works for a fun image.”
