We are happy to announce this week’s winner AIBP Weekly Choice Image Competition for Sept 23rd, 2021!
This week’s choices were selected by Anna Johnson the owner and lead photographer of Boudoir Ego.
A little about Anna in her own words, “My name is Anna, I am the owner of Boudoir Ego, located in San Diego, CA. I have been shooting boudoir since I was 15 years (shhh.. I know that’s young) and I have owned my business since 2011. I joined AIBP in 2012 and I have watched this group flourish. Currently, I teach photographers Branding and Brand Marketing along with Flow Posing. For the past two years I have also been the CGO (Chief Growth Officer) of UAF Photo Lab in Canada.”

Anna select this image because it “…shows beautiful emotion. The composition is great and I love that the light creates highlights positioned perfectly on her back adding to the emotion in this image. This is a great choice for Black and white, in my personal opinion black in white images evoke emotion aligning with this image.”
1st Runner up this week is Amanda Marquis of Amanda Marquis Photography based out of Bedford NH,
From the desk of Anna, ”The use of artificial light was a perfect bold choice for this image. Given this Goddess pose and the rich in color blue couch I think the use of this type of lighting is fitting. Contrast is create and the image its self is not overexposed. Good Job!l”

Anna’s notes on this image.“Beautiful sharp body scape. The light positioning is perfect as far as sculpting the body. I love that you can see texture on the body too. “
