The AIBP Awards of Excellence are here for 2025!

This is the opportunity to recognize the accomplishments of our industry peers and colleagues.

This year there are three awards to be given out to AIBP members.

Photographer of the Year:

This person is an exemplary leader who displays AIBP’s values – Create, Learn, Connect

Rising Star:

This person has recently begun their career in the boudoir genre and has displayed immense growth in all aspects of their business. This is definitely “someone to watch.”

Ambassador of Excellence:

This person genuinely invests in the industry as a whole. They embrace the idea that we “grow together” and supports colleagues equally.

AIBP Awards of Excellence 2024

We are proud to announce the AIBP 2024 Awards of Excellence, an opportunity to celebrate and recognize the outstanding accomplishments of our industry peers and colleagues. These awards honor individuals who exemplify passion, dedication, and an unwavering commitment to both their businesses and the boudoir industry as a whole. Each of this year’s recipients has gone above and beyond, and their efforts truly deserve recognition.

AIBP 2024 Ambassador of Excellence
Awarded to an individual who genuinely invests in the industry as a whole, embraces the belief that we “grow together,” and supports colleagues with equal enthusiasm and integrity.

The 2024 Ambassador of Excellence award is presented to Rhea Lewis of Rhea Lewis Photography, Jupiter, FL.
 
Rhea embodies what it means to be a true ambassador. As a long-time member of AIBP, she has consistently supported the organization, but since its acquisition by Shawn and Michelle Black in 2021, she has become a guiding light for the association. Her experience and insight have been instrumental in launching several new AIBP programs, most notably the Visionary Awards this year. Beyond these major contributions, Rhea is always willing to share her knowledge and offer guidance, supporting fellow photographers at every stage of their journey.
AIBP 2024 Rising Star
 
Awarded to an individual who is rapidly progressing in their boudoir career and has demonstrated remarkable growth across all aspects of their business, truly someone to watch.
The 2024 Rising Star Award goes to John Thompson IV of John W Thompson IV Photography, Glenmoore, PA.
 
Watching John’s evolution as an artist since he first joined AIBP has been nothing short of inspiring. He exemplifies exactly what the Rising Star award represents. John is deeply committed to elevating himself as both an artist and a business owner, regularly attending the annual AIBP Retreat and fully immersing himself in the experience. He continues that education throughout the year by learning from highly respected artists within the industry. His rapid growth and rising level of work are a direct result of his dedication, making him a perfect representative of the AIBP Rising Star.
AIBP 2024 Photographer of the Year
Awarded to an exemplary leader who consistently embodies AIBP’s core values: Create, Learn, Connect,
The 2024 Photographer of the Year, AIBP’s most prestigious honor, is proudly awarded to Aloha Kelly of Love Exposed Boudoir, St. Louis, MO.
Aloha is exceptionally deserving of this recognition. She is not only a boudoir OG, but also an AIBP OG, having been a member for many years. Her work is instantly recognizable, imagery that stops the scroll and leaves a lasting impact. This is the level of connection and influence all artists strive to achieve. Beyond her artistry, Aloha generously shares the knowledge she has gained throughout her career as an educator, while also continuing her own growth by attending workshops and learning opportunities. Her commitment to continuous improvement is truly inspiring, especially from someone who has already achieved so much.Congratulations to all of our 2024 award recipients!
Each winner will receive a beautifully engraved award along with a $500 credit toward the AIBP Retreat 2025.

The winners of these 3 awards have shown passion, drive and a commitment to their business and the boudoir industry as a whole. They have gone above and beyond and truly deserve to be recognized for their efforts.

AIBP 2023 PHOTOGRAPHER OF THE YEAR
A person who is an exemplary leader who displays AIBP’s values – Create, Learn, Connect

 

Photographer of the Year for 2023, AIBP’s most prestigious recognition is proudly awarded to Sarah Esther Witherington of OWN Boudoir, Atlanta, GA.

Announcing Sarah as the recipient of this award is special because she is not only someone who was chosen by her peers, but someone who we admire and respect as an artist. If you aren’t familiar with Sarah’s work get familiar with it! Having known Sarah for many years we can say it is not only her work that makes her deserving of this award, but her openness to share what has worked and what hasn’t through out the years. Having just seen her at the most recent Retreat this was on display as she worked with other photographers during open shoot times to help them grow.

 

AIBP 2023 AMBASSADOR OF EXCELLENCE

The Ambassador of Excellence for 2023 is awarded to Michal Lepore of Touch of Boudoir, Liverpool, NY

Michal is beyond deserving of this recognition. He is constantly going above and beyond to elevate not only AIBP, but the boudoir genre as a whole with his commitment to community over competition. We got to see this first hand at the AIBP Retreat in November where he selflessly recorded a ton of BTS content to help give others a window into our premier educational event.

 

AIBP 2023 RISING STAR
A person that has recently begun their career in the boudoir genre and has displayed immense growth in all aspects of their business. This is definitely “someone to watch.”

The 2023 Rising Star award goes to Kristina Daugherty of KJ Boudoir, Chesterfield, VA.

Kristina’s work is absolutely stunning! And since getting to know her 2 years ago we’ve watched her take her work and business to the next level. She has continually honed her skills with a willingness to absorb knowledge from those she works with has translated into amazing growth in her as a business person, but more impact fully as an artist which exemplifies what this award is about.

 

Congratulations to all of the winners!  They will all be receiving a beautiful engraved award, as well as a $500 credit to the AIBP Retreat 2024.
