He’s been actively involved in the photographic industry his entire career. \nHe’s the founder of SCU and past CMO for Platypod.com\, President of Rangefinder Publishing and WPPI. He’s actively participated in the professional side of photography since joining Hasselblad USA in 1987 as President. He has co-authored six books on photography and actively supports dozens of projects each year involving photographic education. As a member of the editorial staff for Shutter Magazine\, his monthly articles appeared in the publication for six years. \nHe is an Ambassador for Now I Lay Me Down to Sleep and has served on the Board of Directors for the Cameras For Kids Foundation\, as PPA’s Industry Advisor and Board member\, as Vice President of the Photographic Manufacturer’s and Distributor’s Association; and as a member of the board of directors of Photographers + Friends United Against AIDS. \nIn addition to continuing to be active in imaging\, he currently serves as Director for the Memory Care Alliance\, a group of fifteen companies\, profit and non-profit\, all focused on helping Alzheimer’s patients and their caregivers. \nSkip regularly teaches live and online workshops focused on marketing and business\, including blogging and website effectiveness.
