We are happy to announce the September AIBP Monthly Choice Image Competition sponsored by UAF Photo Lab.<\/a><\/p>\n

This month’s choices were selected by Shawn Black of Couture Black<\/a> based out of Boston, MA. He has been photographing boudoir for over 8 years and is the President of AIBP.<\/a> He is looking forward to continuing to push the boudoir genre forward.<\/p>\n

Shawn’s comments on this image “From lighting to the pose to the toning this image struck me. The way the light defines her body accentuating the water glistening on her skin adds to an image that despite appearing slightly risqu\u00e9 is tamed by strategic placement of the arms and legs in the pose. The anonymity of this lends itself to be a great piece of wall art.”<\/p>\n

1st runner up is Heather Glenn of Elysian Bloom Boudoir<\/a> based in Dallas, TX.<\/p>\n

Shawn’s comments on this image “I absolutely love connection in images and this woman nails it. Her intense gaze is contrasted her soft smile, just as her dark hair is a beautiful contrast to the light wardrobe choice for this set.”<\/p>\n

Shawn’t comments on this image “Black and white and the nude form are simple made for each other. The black and white conversion on this is done beautifully as is the light ing to capture the delicate highlights along this more editorial looking pose.”<\/p>\n
