We are happy to announce this week\u2019s winner of the AIBP Weekly Choice Image Competition sponsored by UAF Photo Lab.<\/a><\/p>\n

This week\u2019s choices were selected by Shawn Black of Couture Black<\/a> based out of Boston, MA. He has been photographing boudoir for over 8 years and is the President of AIBP.<\/a> He is looking forward to continuing to push the boudoir genre forward.<\/p>\n

Congratulations to Maria Turner of Black Diamond Boudoir<\/a> based in Rosharon, TX<\/p>\n

Shawn’s comments on this image “I\u2019m all about the triangles and beautiful negative space created by the posing in this image. The hard angles contrasted by the soft curve and drape of the fabric just lead the eye to the silhouette that is uniquely split in focus. Lastly I feel the black and white conversion is appropriate since it removes any distractions color would have caused.”<\/p>\n

Kristina Daugherty | KJBoudoir<\/p><\/div>\n

1st runner up this week is Kristina Daugherty of KJBoudoir<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Shawn’s comments on this image “I love the creative use of the bench in this image. All of the basic elements are nailed in this unique pose. With such a large light source the high lights are nicely controlled bringing out the definition in her upper back and arms showing strength.”<\/p>\n

Romain Deprick | Maestro VII<\/p><\/div>\n

2nd runner up is Romain Deprick of Maestro VII<\/a> based in Orange County, CA.<\/p>\n

Shawn’s thoughts on this image “This is something about this image that reminds me of vintage film images from the 60\u2019s. The other thing that draws me to the image is the insanely tack sharp eyes that just stare right back at you.”<\/p>\n
