We are pleased to have Tanya Smith judging this week.<\/p>\n

Tanya has been a women\u2019s portrait photographer since 2011 and fell in love with how a boudoir session can change the way a woman sees herself.\u00a0 She owns and operates Tanya Smith Photography<\/a> based out of Hamilton Ontario, Canada.<\/p>\n

Since 2017, Tanya has been mentoring and coaching other boudoir photographers one-on-one who want to grow their business. Her online business education, Profitable Portraits<\/a>, has helped hundreds of portrait photographers from all over the world, in every genre, grow and scale their own businesses.<\/p>\n

This week’s winner is Kara Dunn of Midnight Sun Boudoir<\/a> located in Manchester, PA.<\/p>\n

Tanya selected this winning image because, “The colors and tones are beautiful.\u00a0 Love the depth of field where the focus is on the details of the lingerie – editing of the skin is very well done, and texture of the skin is maintained.\u00a0 The hairstyle is an unexpected fresh change from traditional boudoir images.”<\/p>\n

Lea Flores | Lea Flores Photography<\/p><\/div>\n

1st runner up this week is Lea Flores owner of Lea Flores Photography<\/a> based in Colorado.<\/p>\n

Tanya’s comments on this image “I am always a sucker for a classic boudoir pose. This one is executed perfectly, and the B&W conversion is well done- I like the crop of the face, and keeping the nose and lips in the frame keeps the image anonymous without looking like a cut off head.”<\/p>\n

Shalon Bourdase | I Am Boudoir<\/p><\/div>\n

2nd runner up is Shalon Bourdase of I Am Boudoir<\/a> based in Fresno, CA.<\/p>\n

Tanya’s felt this image is “An erotic image, but it’s implied with a wonderful and creative use of shadows and light that directs the eyes without giving away details.\u00a0 The pose and emotion is well done.”<\/p>\n
