RULES OF ENTRY<\/p>\n

  1. Entrants must be in good standing within the AIBP Organization. Members & Non-Members are welcome to enter.<\/li>\n
  2. Entrants may submit up to 10 entries in the AIBP Visionary Awards.<\/li>\n
  3. All portrait images must be captured and exposed by the entrant and represent a client or model, no AI generated portraiture is allowed, except in the designated category.<\/li>\n
  4. Entrant will identify if the image is commissioned or non commissioned.<\/li>\n
  5. Written or video testimonials may be requested for (commissioned) entries<\/li>\n
  6. Entries that may violate copyright or trademark laws, will be disqualified, and award rescinded. It is the photographer\u2019s responsibility to ensure proper approval from subjects prior to entering.<\/li>\n
  7. Software and AI for basic\u00a0retouching is\u00a0allowed. Basic adjustment includes, sharpening, softening, color adjustment and so on…<\/li>\n
  8. Entering or using work from another photographer or artist is strictly prohibited. If this is brought to the attention of the competition team, not only will the image be disqualified, but the member will also be terminated from the organization.<\/li>\n
  9. Images that are captured and produced from reproducing an existing photograph, movie banner, video banner cover or artwork of another photographer or artist and created to look like the original photograph or artwork; will be disqualified from the competition. This will constitute plagiarism<\/li>\n
  10. Entries produced during a workshop or under the supervision of an instructor\u00a0are NOT allowed<\/span>. If we notice your subject is entered by another entrant, you will immediately be contacted.<\/li>\n
  11. You must be 18 years or older to enter this AIBP competition.<\/li>\n
  12. Sexually explicit portraiture, sexual voyeurism or highlighting genitalia (pornography), and boudoir erotica are not allowed in this AIBP competition.\u00a0 <\/span>The judging panel will remove the entries that fall into this category and the entrant monies used for entry into AIBP Visionary Awards are non-refundable.<\/li>\n
  13. Images previously entered in the AIBP Visionary Awards and scored a PLATINUM, GOLD, SILVER or BRONZE, cannot be re-entered. Non-medal earning <\/span>entries may be resubmitted if the image has changed from its original state. Images previously entered in the AIBP monthly competition or into any AIBP Live Image Critiques are allowed, but run the risk of a judge having seen their work which may limit their ability to be judged by the judging panel.<\/li>\n
  14. TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THE AIBP PHOTOGRAPHER OF THE YEAR (POY) AWARD, the entrant must enter 4 or more images in the AIBP Visionary Awards<\/span>.\u00a0 POY is a cumulative total of the top 5 scores in the Visionary Awards as well as participation in the AIBP monthly competition and other criteria as published by AIBP.<\/li>\n
  15. TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THE CATEGORY AWARDS (FIRST PLACE),\u00a0You must enter 4 or more images into the overall AIBP Visionary Award competition.<\/span>\u00a0 Category awards are determined by the highest scoring images judged in a category for commissioned and non-commissioned entries.<\/li>\n
  16. The entrant\u2019s name\/business name, logo or any identifying element must not be visible anywhere on the image or on the file name. If the photographers name or the photographers branding is included anywhere on the image, image will be disqualified.<\/li>\n
  17. All entries need to be named with a title. Image 1, 2 or 3 is not an image title.<\/li>\n
  18. All entries are to be in digital jpeg format, RGB or sRGB color space. Image size 4000 pixels on the longest side, 300dpi.<\/li>\n
  19. Once payment is processed for entires, no changes can be made.\u00a0 There is a option to save your entry for 30 days or until the end of the entry period, whichever comes first.<\/li>\n
  20. Copyright as well as any other rights remain that of the submitting photographer\/entrant. Any photograph\/image used by AIBP or the AIBP Visionary Awards will credit the photographer\/entrant. All submitting photographers\/entrants understand and agree that any image submitted to the AIBP Visionary Awards may be used by AIBP or the AIBP Visionary Awards for marketing and promotional purposes including in any media such as exhibitions, print and digital media directly related to AIBP or the AIBP Visionary Awards. You also agree and understand that AIBP presentations may include your profile image or a social media profile image to represent you.<\/li>\n
  21. Any images not following the rules outline will be disqualified and entry fees will be forfeited.<\/li>\n
