Heather Nixon Photography

Heather Nixon is a luxury boudoir photographer, educator, and founder of The Intimate Arts Society. A Marine Corps veteran and mother of three, she has built a multi-six-figure studio known for its elevated, client centered experience and emotionally driven imagery.

Her work goes beyond traditional portraiture, focusing on connection, storytelling, and guiding clients through a transformative experience that allows them to see themselves in a new light. Through intentional direction and a refined approach to posing and lighting, she creates images that are both powerful and deeply personal.

In addition to her work behind the camera, Heather is passionate about education and community within the industry. She founded The Intimate Arts Society to elevate boudoir and intimate portraiture as a respected art form, bringing photographers together through an annual black tie awards gala that honors artistry, impact, and innovation.
