We are happy to announce this week’s winner AIBP Weekly Choice Image Competition!
This week’s choices were selected by Shawn Black of Couture Black based out of Boston, MA. He has been photographing boudoir for over 8 years and recently acquired AIBP. He is looking forward to continuing to push the boudoir genre forward.
And the Weekly Choice Winner is…..

Shawn selected this image because, “I’m a sucker for a great black and white image and I love the conversion done here. The lighting is beautifully executed with a nice falloff into shadow without losing all definition.Those previous factors aside I chose this image because of her connection and the pose which creates a wonderful hourglass shape to her body..”
1st Runner up this week is Sue Bruce of Finest Courtier based in Lexington MA.
What Shawn had to say about this image. “This is a beautifully staged water shot. I enjoy the use of color from all the florals incorporated into the image contrasted with the white of the gown she his wearing.”
2nd runner up go to Denise Salaam of Denise Salaam Boudoir based in Singapore.
Shawn felt that “Something about the anonymity and caught in the moment feel of this image’s framing caught my. Being able to partially see her face while the attention is drawn to her chest both with focus and pose makes this image stand out.
”
